Cream of Saskatchewan Watermelon Seeds

Description

This rare melon has a thin rind, so you won’t find it in stores. Its sweet and crispy cream colored flesh is delicious fresh and also used for pickling to make a traditional watermelon syrup. Introduced to Canada by Russian immigrants, it’s well adapted to northern climates. Brought to us by Farmer Wren, whose heritage is in part Mennonite.
