Description

This productive variety was brought from Russia to Saskatchewan by immigrants. The thin, brittle rind makes it unsuitable for shipping, making it a perfect home garden variety. Look for the bottom to turn yellow, the fruit to become dull instead of shiny, and the tendril near the melon stem to dry up. 80-85 days to maturity.
