Nasturtium, Cherry Rose

Description

A compact nasturtium that is just as appropriate for the salad garden as it is for bedding and container culture. Mounding plants grow to just 1′ and are entirely edible. The Cherry Rose variety has clear green leaves with pretty deep pink flowers that are fantastic on a plate and or in herbal cocktails. Nasturtiums bloom most prolifically in poor soils. Nitrogen-rich soils will produce lots of delicious succulent foliage but few flowers.
